LDD/ prototype

The level design for my game will be floor based. the idea is that the farther down the floors the player go the harder the levels will be. the first floor will be the easiest and will be a simple non linear level. The floor will be explorable and you will be able to find items in on the floor. monsters will spawn and will try to kill you. when monsters are killed you will be able to loot there bodys for materials. There will a a random exit point on the floor and will lead you to the surface, you will also unlock the the next floor. This will be the basis of clearing floors. The floor clearing system is like that from Pokemon mystery dungeon and into the gungion. Every five floors there will be a boss and will be much tougher then the rest of the floors enemy's, on a boos floor the boss will be a secret until the player finds them, but there will be slight clues on the floor to hint at what element type the boss is or what there weaknesses may be. Each floor will differ in appearance the lower down into the dungeon.

    I really like your game idea, it'll be a really fun to play when its made. I love the idea that each floor is a level and it gets harder as you keep going. What type of music will you be adding in if you are at all . I think it would be cool if when the levels get harder the music gets more intense throughout. I look forward to playing your game its really cool nice job !!!

    That's a cool game idea, I haven't seen anyone else with this type of floor-based game. Id love to try this game when it's finished because I like games similar to this. One of my favorites is the binding of Isaac. I like that each floor will have its own appearance. Good luck with making the game.
